BNP MEPs Nick Griffin and Andrew Brons were elected to represent the UK in Europe after just 35% of the electorate voted, with 6% of those voters supporting the BNP. 6% of a 35% turnout is 2% of all voters, so the BNP claim their election was "democratic" although 94% of Euro 2009 voters actively opposed the BNP, and 98% of the overall electorate didn't vote for the BNP. Just because Adolf Hitler and Benito Mussolini were democratically elected does not mean that Winston Churchill was wrong to oppose Fascism in WW2, but since BNP "stars" like Mark Collett were shown on TV praising Hitler and praising the Nazi hit-list website Redwatch, the BNP is trying to soften its image by putting forward new candidates like their fake vicar and Norwich by-election candidate "Reverend" Robert West. It's bad enough that Robert West ignores the long history of BNP anti-semitism to pretend the BNP supports a religion founded by a Jew, but the BNP also try to re-write Christian theology to place their warped ideas about "ethnic Nationalism" (which is in itself a contradiction in terms) in place of Bible stories like the Good Samaritan. Because the BNP fail to impress mainstream Christians with Nazi-lite policies, the BNP set-up their own one-man-and-his-dog group called the Christian Council of Britain (sic) which (as shown in this video) has ONE member! The good news is that Robert West came 7th, polling a pathetic 2.7% and losing the BNP deposit in the recent Norwich North by-election ...
