Architecture Alive: The Copan Building, located in the center of the city of São Paulo in Brasil, and designed by the legendary Brazilian architect Oscar Niemeyer, is a world architecture icon, and a portrait of Brazilian society. More than 5000 residents, of all social, cultural, ethnic and economic levels live in its 1160 apartments. In this visual anthropological investigation, 20 Copan characters (residents, workers and business owners) create a fluid, vibrant and positive dialogue on how it is to live and work in harmony and safety in the largest residential building in Latin America. declarations of love was co-directed and produced by Emmanuelle Bernard and André Blas.
