The named Khusugtun ethnic ballad group was founded under the National Folk Song and Dance Academic Ensemble of Mongolia in 2009, that consists of 6 high-skilled musicians of morin khuur as Horse fiddle, yatga as national zither, guitar, dombor as Kazakh folk musical instrument, limbe national flute, drum as djembe (African drum played with bare hands), ikh khuuur as a great horse fiddle. During our folk performance we could improve our playing with the polyphone and khoomii throat-singing (involve the production of exquisite diaphonic melodies using the mouth, throat and chest) by the ethnic ballad style, where are included playing of the musical composition of many national folk songs in harmony of the throat-singing. In this CD are included the most famous 10 songs of the buriad, torguud, chantuu, tsaatan, khalkh and other nationalities and two melodies of the young musical compositors inclusively. At the same time our folk group had participated in the International Symposium and Festival of the throat singing organized in May of 2009, where we won the Grand Prix award.
