Many people on youtube spend their time bashing the gypsies and I hate people hating others just because they belong to an ethnic group or race. This is a photo gallery of some pictures I could find on internet (I don't know so much about gypsies- or Roma people, as they call themselves) of some well known gypsies and stuff; with excellent music performed by them. Gypsies have contributed significantly to the musical development of every nation they passed through: they were the main creators of the flamenco genre in Spain, they are the main band leaders in the Balkans and Eastern Europe (to the point that most of the Balkan folk is actually gypsy); actually in this area they mix Russian-like and Arabic-like tunes, baring a noticeable similarity with Jewish music. They are also conspicuous musicians in the Middle East, Western Europe and the American Continent; in Italy you'll find many songs dedicated or possibly created by gypsies. There must be a reason why gypsies haven't become great contributors to the sciences and arts as the Jews (another people in diaspora). I think it must be because the Roma chose a nomadic life.
